Emergency assistance in seconds with 112 and Gardy.me

On 15 November, the 112 Single Emergency Call Service and Gardy S.R.L., the developer of the gardy.me application, signed an important agreement that will change the approach to emergency calls in the Republic of Moldova. The agreement was signed by Anatol Viniciuc, interim director of the 112 Service, and Vladimir Rediboi, director of Gardy S.R.L..

Faster, more efficient, safer

"This partnership project will significantly reduce the time required for data collection by the 112 service operator - from 60-120 seconds to 5-10 seconds," emphasised Anatoly Vinichuk. - Thanks to the technical solution, information about the name, age and location of the subscriber will be automatically transferred from the application to the case card. This will speed up call processing and reduce the time of arrival of emergency services".

Technology in favour of safety

"Co-operation with 112 is our contribution to ensuring the safety of citizens," said Vladimir Rediboy. - Gardy.me is created for instant and convenient submission of distress signals. Now we are testing a prototype, which will be finalized during the year, taking into account feedback from 112 operators, police and other services. Our goal is to create a system that is as useful as possible for the whole country.

appendix gardy.me allows you to send an SOS signal with one touch without having to make a call. Name, phone number and location are automatically transmitted, making it easy for first responders to transfer data. This solution makes emergency calls more accessible, optimises resources and saves time.

Free solution for all citizens

Gardy S.R.L. provides this service free of charge to citizens and the 112 service. It is planned to finalise and implement the system on a national scale in the near future.

About the 112 Service: Operational in Moldova since 29 March 2018. The number 112 is intended for calling the police, ambulance and firefighters. Calls are free of charge and available round the clock.
