Deeptech GIGAHACK 2025 - The largest hackathon in the Republic of Moldova returns with a new edition promising impact and cutting edge technology!

Chișinău, 25 July 2025. - Technovator announces the return of DEEPTECH GIGAHACK 2025, the largest hackathon in the Republic of Moldova dedicated to fostering innovation and identifying technology talent. After the resounding success of DeepTech GigaHack 2024, which attracted 300 participants in 57 teams at Tekwill, the 2025 edition promises to exceed all expectations by gathering brilliant minds to create impactful technological solutions.

Under the slogan "Let's utilise the innovative potential!" Deeptech GigaHack 2025 will take place in Tekwill, Chișinău, from 12 to 14 September 2025. During three intense days, more than 300 participants will work together to prototype and present innovative solutions, with an extensive network of mentors, data sources and a solid platform to bring their ideas to life.

A prize fund of 240,000 MDL will be awarded to the winning teams of DeepTech GigaHack 2025, who will get to choose from various themed challenges developed with our partners from the technology industries such as Orange Moldova, Obility, Invitro Diagnostics.

Participants will generate innovative ideas in vital sectors such as EnergyTech, HealthTech, Artificial Intelligence and Gamification, as well as Cybersecurity and Open Challenges. Each challenge is designed to stimulate creativity and address relevant issues, giving participants the opportunity to contribute to impactful solutions. Deeptech GigaHack 2025 also announces its strategic partnerships with EU4Innovation East, a regional project funded by the European Union, co-funded by the Government of France and implemented by Expertise France, Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF), UNDP Moldova and the Government of Italy, and the Innovate Moldova programme funded by Sweden. These key collaborations emphasise a shared commitment to supporting innovation and technological development in the Republic of Moldova by providing participants with access to valuable resources and unique opportunities.
