AI Hackathon 2025 - More than just a competition: here you will be able to implement projects that can fundamentally change the situation with false information. The participants are waiting for:
- Expert-led teamwork. Form groups where different competencies are closely intertwined and learn from recognised professionals.
- A chance to realise breakthrough ideas. Work on AI platforms, gamified services and cognitive distortion awareness tools - all to effectively counter fakes.

Main thematic areas
Participants will create innovative solutions within three major areas:
- Verifying and refuting news and manipulative stories
Developing AI platforms capable of detecting and unmasking FIMI (Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference) is a well-honed tool for fact-checking and increasing media literacy. - Gamification in media literacy
Designing educational games and interactive content to help users understand how disinformation campaigns are formed and spread, and learn how to counter them. - Overcoming psychological and cognitive distortions
Creating services that help people recognise the impact of effects such as 'joining the majority', 'authority', 'scarcity' or 'bullying', making them more resistant to manipulation.
