Organised by the Startup Moldova team, the event was part of their larger mission: to create a sustainable and ambitious startup ecosystem in Moldova.
The event was supported by EU4Innovation East, funded by the European Union, co-funded by the French Government and Expertise France. The project was additionally supported by EIT, Sweden, Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund and the Swiss Government together with Helvetas through the OPTIM project.

Vasile Granaci (a well-known funder with $60M in raised investments) shared the real story of his journey and spoke candidly about his $10M exit. His presentation was one of the most memorable.
Startup Avenue
At Startup Avenue it was possible to see the new generation of Moldovan startups. Each stand is a story, a product, and an ambition. Although Main Stage was garnering headlines, the real energy was simmering on the Community Stage.
It was here that the semi-finals of Startup World Cup Moldova took place - ten startups fought to reach the finals. Later, the finalists presented their pitches on the main stage - the winner will go to San Francisco for the global finals.
