Kids N Play Cup: Interseason

On 22 and 29 June, StreetFighter II and Mortal Kombat I tournaments were held in Chisinau among children aged 7 to 16. Alexandru Zapadinschi's project continues to support the history of computer technologies and popularize cybersport in the Republic of Moldova. TechDoor is the exclusive media partner of this year's Interseason.

"We are just past our fourth round and the first half of the year is behind us. The Kids N Play National Championships had an extravaganza of a successful Children's Day. I decided that the whole team would linger in the capital before the fifth round. I wanted to enjoy the fruits of my labor and see the first champions in 2024, before the new touring season begins" shares Alexander. 

During the two-day tournament, the Kids N Play project gathered over 100 participants at Moldova Pentru Pace without advertising the event. 9 local businesses acted as partners of MidSeason. The tenth, and also on the list of general advertisers, was Dutch music artist Paul MixTailes, known for his win last year at the LA Music Awards. Among the potential champions, Moldovan and Ukrainian children, as well as children with special needs, competed for the title and prizes. The winners walked away with expensive prizes: a gaming console and tickets to a live performance in August this year. 

"I insisted that all children participate in the tournament on an equal footing. There were some slanted glances and disagreement from some parents, but in the end there were children with special needs among the finalists. That's worth a lot!" explains Alexander Zapadinsky. "KNP will continue to develop and expand beyond the borders of Moldova, right now my whole focus is on the fifth tour and the Kids N Play summer festival". This year the project will represent the country at the international level, we wish the team success and prosperity!
